KPMG Türkiye is seeking a Transaction Services Associate / Senior Associate within our Advisory team in Istanbul. You will analyze potential transactions by sector research, review information memorandums, and identify key drivers behind trading performance and cash flows.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in transaction advisory or audit, a strong accounting/finance background, excellent English, and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Understand drivers of a potential transaction via sector research.
  • Analyze financial data to identify the key drivers behind the trading performance and cash flows.
  • Discuss business drivers, historical events and balance sheet positions with management.
  • Analyze key valuation considerations such as adjusted EBITDA, working capital requirements and net debt.
  • Identify and report key factual conclusions and advice to support negotiations.
  • Cooperate with other advisors involved in the process.

We are now taking applications for Transaction Services Associate / Senior Associate roles in our Advisory team.

Qualifications, skills and attributes required for success:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business from an accredited college/university, preferably an MSc or MA degree from an accredited college/university, with accounting / finance concentration,
  • Minimum experience of 2-5 years in transaction advisory and/or audit,
  • Strong accounting and finance background with solid financial analysis and reporting skills,
  • The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts,
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills,
  • Ability to lead and operate in high performing teams,
  • Ability to perform consistently at a high level under pressure,
  • Strong accounting background and considerable aptitude for resolving issues in technical accounting,
  • Fluent spoken and written English to a high business standard,
  • Excellent Skills in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, use of Microsoft PowerPoint are prerequisites.

  • Analyzing key valuation considerations such as adjusted EBITDA, working capital requirements and net debt to bridge enterprise and equity value,
  • Identifying and report key factual conclusions and advice to support buyer’s / seller’s negotiating positions and price adjustments,
  • Cooperating with other advisors involved in the process.
