Job description

Trade and Customer Relations Specialist is expected to work in the Trade and Customer Relations Department of Autoport Terminal which is part of Arkas Holding Port and Terminal Services Group, located in Başisekele, Kocaeli.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Follow up, regulate, and report all commercial relations with existing and potential internal and external customers in the scope of receiver and sender within ports.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
  • Supporting by reporting, conducting, and regulating advertisement, fair, promotion, sponsorship, and similar marketing activities of the businesses he/she is responsible for based on the Corporate Relations Coordinatorship.
  • Supporting CRM activities by protecting all internal and external customers’ relations with Autoport.
  • Realizing sales aimed customer visits within the context of fulfilling the targeted budget and all the other performance scales.
  • Follow up, implement, and report on potential and existing customers’ market performance analyses, competitor businesses’ cost, investment, capacity performance and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant departments (preferably International Trade, Business Administration, Maritime and Port Management, etc.).
  • 3–4 years of experience in marketing, sales, and customer relations in the logistics sector, preferably with experience in general cargo and Ro-Ro operations.
  • Preferably knowledgeable in Foreign Trade, Import, Export, Customs Processes and Legislation.
  • Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, especially PowerPoint and Excel, with strong data analysis skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates a strong aptitude for collaboration, builds positive interpersonal relationships, and has excellent follow-up skills.
  • Experienced in communication, time management, planning, and job follow-up.
  • Possesses advanced organizational and reporting skills, and is responsible.
  • Completed military service (for male candidates).
