We are in search of a Tech Lead to drive the technical vision and execution of our Cheque & Promissory Notes Suite.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong domain knowledge in cheque and promissory note operations, and who can lead a cross-functional development team in building scalable, compliant, and high-performing financial products.

What Will The Right Person Look Like?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or tech lead role
• Proven experience in the banking domain, particularly in cheque and promissory note management systems
• Solid understanding of cheque lifecycle processes — issuance, custody, clearing, rejection, return, and destruction
• Familiarity with promissory note workflows — registration, endorsement, protest, and accounting integration
• Hands-on experience in KKB (Credit Bureau) integrations and reporting flows
• Strong knowledge of Takasbank clearing and settlement processes for cheques
• Proficiency in .NET Core, REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
• Experience in designing scalable architectures and driving technical decisions for enterprise-level financial systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end delivery quality
• Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor developers and align technical direction with business goals
• Experience working in agile environments, delivering continuously and iteratively
• Prior exposure to cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines is a strong plus

What Will You Be Doing?

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Fimple’s Cheque & Promissory Notes Suite
• Own the technical architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Guide and support the development team, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering best practices
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot, and proactively resolve technical bottlenecks
• Ensure compliance with banking and financial process standards, particularly for KKB and Takasbank integrations
• Contribute to Fimple’s broader vision of building composable, cloud-native financial technology
