About Our Client

Our client is looking for a Software Test Engineer to take ownership of testing activities across both software applications and hardware devices. The product scope includes NG ECR, EFT-POS, Pinpad, SoftPOS, and EMV Kernel solutions.

Job Description

• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle,
• Design, implement, and execute test strategies and test plans,
• Perform manual tests on hardware devices (EFT-POS, Pinpads, NG ECR, etc.) as well as automated tests for software components (SoftPOS, EMV Kernel),
• Identify, log, and track bugs, ensuring high-quality and stable releases,
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to continuously improve testing practices,
• Support end-to-end validation of payment systems.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related field,
• 6-8 years of experience in test engineering, ideally with both hardware and software testing exposure,
• Solid experience with test automation frameworks and Agile delivery,
• Strong analytical and documentation skills,
• Excellent communication skills, able to present technical findings clearly,
• Proven ability to prioritize, solve problems, and contribute to process improvements,
• Willingness to work fully on-site with a positive and adaptable mindset,
• Hands-on approach; comfortable switching between application-level testing and device validation.
