Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in forestry or related field is required.
• At least five years of relevant professional forestry experience is required.
• Working knowledge of English (Level C) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on sustainable forest management and planning.
• Assess forest management systems and identify gaps and opportunities.
• Develop forestry methodologies, guidelines and tools for planning and management.
• Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for institutions and practitioners.
• Support biodiversity conservation, ecosystem services, and climate resilience in planning.
