Job summary

TEB CCIB Group in Turkey seeks a motivated Structured & Project Finance professional to lead structuring, negotiation and closing of complex financing transactions. You will originate deals with coverage, perform financial analysis, and manage the credit process including due diligence and credit committee presentations in TEB and BNP Paribas.

The role requires strong modelling skills, English proficiency, and the ability to mentor junior analysts while coordinating across local and global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Management or Accounting; Master’s degree adds value.
• 2-5 years for Assistant Manager, 5+ years for Manager in financial analysis or structured finance.
• Strong financial literacy, credit analysis and cash flow modelling skills.
• Experience building pro-forma financial models with sensitivity analysis; energy sector experience is a plus.
• Ability to draft, present and defend credit proposals in English.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; coordinate between local and global parties.
• Manager role requires prioritizing multiple transactions and mentoring juniors.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; CFA Charter or enrollment is a plus.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Structured & Project Finance professional to join TEB CCIB Group. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful structuring, negotiation, and closing complex financing transactions. The successful candidate will:

• Work closely with coverage and sales teams to originate and execute new deals
• Perform the necessary research and analytics including financial analysis and cash flow modelling
• Manage the credit process including preparation of credit applications for all new transactions, undertake all due diligence activities and present to the relevant credit committees in TEB and BNP Paribas.
• Ensure that transactions are structured to mitigate risks appropriately and executed with due care
• Ensure compliance of all internal and external matters in accordance with banking regulations, bank policy and best practices
• (In terms of Manager role) Mentor, develop and inspire junior analysts across the team to expand team capabilities
• The position entails working on the entire due diligence and credit approval process as well as coordinating the financing transactions from origination (in tandem with coverage) through to execution and monitoring. The dynamism and current success of the team offers ample progression opportunities for the right individual.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Management or Accounting. Master’s degree is an additional asset
• 2-5 years (for Assistant Manager role) and/or 5+ years (for Manager role) of experience in financial analysis of corporate entities and/or structured finance transactions
• Solid financial literacy, credit analysis skills including financial modelling and cash flow analysis
• Experience and capability to build and run pro-forma financial models (incl. sensitivity analysis) for project finance transactions. Energy sector experience is a plus (i.e. strategy, finance or advisory teams)
• Ability to draft, present and confidently defend credit proposals in English
• Robust communication and negotiations skills and ability to act as a coordinator between local and global business parties for transactions
• (In terms of Manager role) Ability to prioritize responsibilities across multiple transactions and proactively manage junior staff and deal team accordingly
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• CFA Charterholder certificate or enrolment to the program would be a plus
