Job summary

ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization inviting a Study Start Up Associate I to facilitate trial initiation, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the advancement of innovative therapies. You will deliver site start-up work, coordinate approvals, and maintain regulatory records with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong attention to detail, previous clinical research or regulatory exposure is a plus, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field.
Experience in clinical research or regulatory affairs preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver site start-up and activation work to a high standard with the team and stakeholders.
Assist in preparation and submission of regulatory documents (e.g., CTAs and ethics submissions).
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain approvals for study initiation.
Maintain accurate records of regulatory submissions and approvals.
Support study teams in developing study documents such as protocols and informed consent forms.
Participate in start-up meetings and advise on regulatory requirements and timelines.
