Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your hardware engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality signalling hardware solutions that ensure safe and efficient railway systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as V&V, installation, and testing & commissioning teams), support the preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM), and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of designing hardware engineering drawings, including cable plans and wiring diagrams, but also contribute to analyzing requirements and managing design change requests.
We’ll look to you for:
Preparing and executing hardware and application engineering activities for bids, projects, and programs
Delivering hardware design drawings, including signaling equipment layouts, cabinet configurations, and rack designs
Supporting the preparation of Control Tables/Route Tables for Interlocking (IXL)
Taking ownership of assigned tasks and ensuring quality and timeliness
Preparing Bill of Materials (BOM), including equipment codification and quantities
Organizing and producing documentation and hardware design deliverables
Analyzing and managing design change requests
Ensuring the independence of design activities from verification activities

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering
At least 2 years of experience in engineering or technical functions within railway projects
Knowledge of railway systems and signalling equipment
Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Visual Basic Applications for AutoCAD
Experience in designing electrical diagrams, such as scheme plans, cable plans, and cabinet configurations
Fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a passion for technical matters and a quick learner
Team player with a collaborative mindset
