Job summary

Damen is seeking a Project Coordinator to drive successful execution of new build workboat projects in its Antalya shipyard. You will coordinate activities across Engineering, Production, and Procurement, monitor schedules, review drawings, and ensure adherence to specs, quality, and safety standards.

The role requires a naval architecture and marine engineering degree with at least 3 years in shipbuilding, strong planning and communication abilities, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the shipbuilding industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities across Engineering, Production, Procurement, and other relevant departments.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project schedules, identify deviations, and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Follow up on production activities, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to support production processes.
• Prepare material and order lists, technical specifications, and procurement requirements.
• Monitor workforce, capacity, and resource utilization to improve project efficiency.
• Identify technical and operational issues, coordinate corrective actions, and support problem-solving.
• Monitor quality performance and ensure compliance with shipyard standards and HSE requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality, productivity, and overall performance.
