Job summary

CBOT in Istanbul seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications. Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, shaping architecture, enforcing coding standards, and staying current with emerging technologies to drive improvements across the Digiturk infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience.
• Experience designing scalable multi-user architectures.
• Strong background in object-oriented development; SOLID principles.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Microservices and RabbitMQ.
• Redis caching experience.
• Cloud technologies and cloud-native development.
• Hands-on with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• DDD and TDD experience.
• Strong documentation and English communication.
• CRM systems experience.
• Kibana and Elasticsearch experience.
• Oracle PL/SQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new technologies and evaluate their usability.
• Provide end-to-end software development expertise and mentor engineers.
• Coordinate and participate in analysis, design, and development of Digiturk infrastructure applications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and enhancement of software infrastructure.
• Guide and support teams building applications on the infrastructure; provide tech guidance.
• Design or oversee data and application architecture for software solutions.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and adapt innovations.
• Establish and enforce coding standards across development teams.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with strong time management.
