Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. This team builds foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify across platforms, blending product and infrastructure.

You will collaborate with Product teams to scope projects, optimize performance, and ship cloud functions and backend services using Kotlin. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and GCP is preferred, and a fast, collaborative, remote-friendly startup mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to design end-to-end solutions with simple APIs.
• Able to ship quickly while considering UX and tradeoffs.
• Experience with cloud-based backend services.
• Remote team experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product teams to scope projects and deliver cross-platform SDK solutions.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and more efficient parsing.
