Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience.

• Demonstrated ability to write maintainable, well-tested production-ready code.

Most engineers use the tools they're given. This team builds them. The AI Enablement team exists to make Personify Health's engineering organization more productive - through internal platforms, AI-assisted workflows, and developer experience solutions that reduce friction and raise quality across every team that ships software. As a Senior Engineer here, you're not supporting the product. You're building the infrastructure that makes the product better.

What You'll Actually Do

Design and build internal AI enablement platforms: Develop, test, and maintain the tools, integrations, and services that engineering teams rely on to write, review, and ship better software - faster.

Identify and eliminate workflow bottlenecks: Embed with engineering teams to understand where development slows down, then build scalable solutions that fix the root cause, not the symptom.

Architect for scale: Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to the engineering standards and governance frameworks that govern AI-assisted development across the organization.

Own complex troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues across internal tooling and platform services - the kinds of problems that don't have a Stack Overflow answer.

Drive adoption of new capabilities: Support engineering teams through onboarding and integration of AI-enabled solutions, making sure the tools actually get used and actually deliver value.

Mentor and share knowledge: Provide technical guidance to other engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through code reviews, design feedback, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

What You Bring to Our Team

Education & Experience

• 4+ years of software development experience
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based solutions, AI-assisted development tools, or AI integrations
• Experience building APIs and backend services
• Experience with highly scalable systems in an AWS ecosystem

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, .NET, TypeScript, or similar technologies
• Demonstrated ability to build maintainable, well-tested, production-ready code
