Responsibilities

• Contribute to increasing customer satisfaction.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer needs.

• Provide technical support to customers.

Sönmez Transformer Company ( STS ) is a fast-growing company in the energy sector. STS manufactures power transformers, special transformers for different applications, and reactors. STS was founded in 1976. Our production plant is located in Dilovasi, Kocaeli and we have an office in Istanbul Anatolian Side. Our current export rate is more than 95% worldwide; our main markets are Central Europe, North America, and Australia.

We are searching for a Traction Project Management Professional for our young and dynamic team.

Main Responsibilities

• Reviewing customer requests and entering the relevant data into the sales system,
• Taking an active role in end-to-end responsibility of all projects,
• Sharing the commercial responsibilities of projects with stakeholders and fulfilling these responsibilities through relevant areas,
• Managing the end-to-end tracking and processing of payments,
• Preparing and presenting weekly/monthly reports for customers and upper management,
• Contributing and carrying out related efforts to increase customer/stakeholder satisfaction,
• Acting as the first point of contact for all customer needs,
• Delivering necessary customer-related information to relevant departments such as Production Planning and Procurement,
• Being responsible for the entire offer process, starting from the preparation of offers to the finalization,
• Following up on the offer process through customer visits and negotiations to ensure successful sales activities,
• Taking on project management responsibilities during and after the sales process,
• Providing technical support to customers and follow-up their routes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering from reputable University
• Professional command of written and spoken level of English
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in sales and project management
• Preferred Technical knowledge in railway and rail systems
• Transformer experience is an asset
• Full proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Motivation to move forward constantly as part of our young and dynamic team.
