Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Turkey to architect, develop, and operationalize enterprise-grade AI agents and multi-agent workflows. You will leverage Python, Azure AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, and Strands SDK to advance prototypes to scalable production.

You will partner with architects and data teams to deliver production-grade AI solutions, focusing on reliability, cost efficiency, and robust deployment practices within a global engineering

Qualifications

• Proficient Python development for AI/agent solutions.
• Experience creating agents and multi-agent workflows with orchestration frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of Azure AI Foundry for developing, deploying, and running agents at scale.
• Strong grasp of LLM concepts: prompt engineering, RAG, grounding, tool calling, and evaluation.
• APIs and authentication (REST/JSON/OAuth2).
• Design of agent behavior: state/memory, tool use, error handling, escalation.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain AI agents and multi-agent workflows for business use cases.
• Incorporate and operationalize AI/ML models within scalable production environments.
• Build orchestration with Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, or Strands SDK.
• Apply RAG, grounding, and prompt optimization to improve quality and reduce hallucinations.
• Connect agents with internal and external systems via APIs and connectors.
• Create and deploy error handling, fallback flows, and escalation paths.
• Test and assess agents and automation workflows.
• Collaborate with architects and data teams to translate requirements into deployable AI solutions.
• Assist with deployment, CI/CD, and release management using Azure DevOps.
• Track and optimize agent performance, reliability, and cost.
