Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-native backend platforms supporting connected medical devices and SaMD.

You will build scalable, secure cloud services on AWS, collaborate across engineering and regulatory teams, and deliver reliable software that supports patient safety and compliant workflows. Experience with HIPAA, FDA expectations, and CI/CD pipelines will help ensure quality from concept to market.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native backend services for connected medical devices and SaMD.
• Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs in regulated healthcare environments.
• Strong hands-on backend development with Java (Spring Boot) and Python; AWS cloud experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native backend services supporting connected medical devices, SaMD, and digital health solutions.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud platform services.
• Develop secure, reliable backend applications using Java, Python, and modern software engineering practices.
• Design and implement cloud solutions leveraging AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, Cognito, etc.
• Contribute to backend platform development through the product lifecycle from concept to post-market support.
• Design and implement secure APIs, authentication, authorization, encryption, audit logging, and data protection for HIPAA-compliant healthcare apps.
