Job summary

EPAM Systems in Turkey seeks a Lead BI Analyst to drive data-driven decisions across oil & gas, finance, retail, e-commerce, and healthcare. You will own BI analysis, mentor analysts, and set standards for dashboards and data models while aligning with senior stakeholders.

You will lead elicitation, manage backlogs, run Agile ceremonies, oversee UAT, and ensure quality across multi-workstream projects. Strong SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and experience with DWH are essential; English at least B2+.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering data-related projects including BI, DWH and data governance.
• 5+ years handling BI/analytical project requirements and stakeholder alignment.
• 2+ years in lead or senior advisory roles mentoring analysts.
• Strong SQL and experience with Power BI/Tableau for data transformation and visualization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with C-level stakeholders.
• English proficiency at least B2+.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and maintenance of dashboards and reports with visualization standards.
• Oversee end-to-end data migration and ETL/ELT processes with the development team.
• Facilitate workshops with clients and senior stakeholders to align needs with strategy.
• Translate business requirements into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Guide data discovery, profiling and modeling activities; define source-to-target mappings.
• Own backlog, epics, features and stories; coordinate AGILE ceremonies and delivery.
• Lead UAT efforts with customer stakeholders and coordinate sign-off processes.
• Mentor BI Analysts, drive knowledge sharing and professional growth.
