Job summary

Jotform is seeking a Senior Backend Developer for our İzmir Teknopark office. You will design, build and deploy backend features, collaborating with product, frontend, DevOps and design teams to scale a platform used by millions.

The role requires 5+ years of web application experience, strong PHP, distributed systems knowledge and proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS/React basics, plus excellent English. You will work in a fast-growing SaaS environment with CI/CD and Git/Jenkins.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience building web applications.
• Proficiency in PHP.
• Familiarity with Distributed Systems programming.
• Experience in SaaS and high traffic applications is highly preferred.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript and React.
• Solid understanding of OOP principles.
• Experience with CI/CD and tools like Git and Jenkins.
• Ability to write high-performance, maintainable and reusable code.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product management, front end developers, devOps and designers.
• Design, build and deploy new features for Jotform.
• Deliver solutions in a CI/CD flow to production with 35 million users.
• Review and iterate architecture to ensure scale along with growth.
