Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead a high-impact enterprise migration and modernization effort.

You will re-platform and automate 20+ Java and .NET ecosystems, moving from on-premise datacentres to a scalable Microsoft Azure cloud environment. You will design and scale cloud and on-prem environments, implement zero-downtime delivery with GitLab, Jenkins, CodeDeploy; manage Terraform modules; and write Python/PowerShell automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production-grade experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps Services.
• Hands-on experience architecting and operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Deep architectural understanding of deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and release engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform (Core), including state management and modular design.
• Python and PowerShell for writing maintainable automation scripts.
• Excellent knowledge of Git workflows, including branching strategies and PR reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale robust cloud and on-prem environments for complex migration initiatives.
• Design and integrate continuous delivery workflows with GitLab, Jenkins, and CodeDeploy for zero-downtime releases.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules with enterprise security and RBAC.
