Job summary

Netcad in Turkey seeks a Senior AI Engineer focused on Computer Vision to lead the development and optimization of satellite imagery analysis tools and ensure seamless GIS integration.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in deep learning, image processing, and deploying models in production, with hands-on experience in geospatial formats such as GeoTIFF, Shapefile, GeoJSON and GIS standards like WMS/WFS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. in CS/EE or related field.
• 5+ years in computer vision, image processing.
• Proficiency in Python and C#, with TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Experience with GIS and geospatial data formats.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy computer vision algorithms for satellite imagery analysis.
• Enhance and fine-tune models (CNNs, Vision Transformers, YOLO) for varying resolutions.
• Integrate model outputs into GIS using GeoTIFF, Shapefile, GeoJSON and standards like WMS/WFS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, real-time processing systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the technical team.
