Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Turkey seeks a hands-on Senior AI Engineer skilled in Node.js, Python and TypeScript to build an AI-powered Risk Map solution.

You will collaborate with the Solution Architect and engineering teams to deliver an AI-driven risk assessment system reducing manual effort from ~30 hours to ~8 hours per assessment. The role requires production experience with AI tools, strong prompt engineering, and expertise in LLMs and enterprise-grade AI applications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as AI or software engineer on AI-based solutions.
• Strong command of Node.js, Python, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI.
• Proficient in Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with Claude or similar enterprise LLM platforms.
• Knowledge of Claude Skills or reusable AI capability frameworks.
• Familiar with AI evaluation, prompt optimization, and quality enhancement.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork; English level B2+

Responsibilities

• Develop the AI-driven risk assessment system per architecture.
• Improve prompt quality and AI workflows.
• Increase accuracy and reliability of outputs.
• Roll out new AI capabilities aligned with architecture.
• Integrate AI capabilities into the existing platform.
• Collaborate with AI Architect and Lead Engineer.
• Participate in testing, validation, and refinement.
• Diagnose AI-related problems and propose fixes.
• Record implementation details and provide recommendations.
