Job summary

Overseas is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to design, build, evaluate, and improve sophisticated AI systems for a fast-moving enterprise AI platform. You will work across multi-agent architectures, memory systems, context graphs, and model routing to deploy reliable production systems that support complex business decisions.

This role emphasizes deep software engineering, experimentation, and hands-on implementation of agentic AI, with 100% remote work and US business hours alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with ownership of production systems.
• Deep hands-on experience building production agentic AI and LLM systems beyond prototypes.
• Strong experience designing agents, multi-agent workflows, orchestration, and tool use.
• Production experience with multiple LLMs and model providers, with routing, quality, latency, and cost tradeoffs.
• Advanced understanding of AI evaluation systems, experimentation, and failure analysis.
• Experience with adversarial evaluation, model-to-model critique, automated evals.
• Strong understanding of agent, model, and context graph interactions.
• Experience with context graphs, memory systems, knowledge graphs, retrieval architectures.
• Deep understanding of context engineering, RAG, memory, retrieval, and context management.
• Experience with AI harness engineering or deeply customized AI development workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Agent SDKs, MCP, or similar tools.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to build reliable production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade agentic and multi-agent systems.
• Architect specialized agents with defined roles, tools, context, permissions, and decisions.
• Design orchestration and routing across agents, tools, models, and workflows.
• Build systems that intelligently use multiple LLMs and model providers.
• Determine models powering agents based on quality, reasoning, reliability, latency, and cost.
• Design failure handling, fallbacks, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop mechanisms.
• Design and manage interactions with context graphs, memory systems, and context sources.
• Design context retrieval, filtering, ranking, and permission strategies.
• Build and evaluate interactions between agents and context graphs.
• Determine required context量 and minimize tokens, latency, and noise.
• Provide context dynamically to agents for specific tasks.
• Evaluate how context changes affect agent accuracy, reasoning, and performance.
• Design AI harnesses and development workflows; build end-to-end production systems.
