Job Description

Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

Accounting, tax, treasury:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting full scope: Checking and validating all A/R, A/P, Bank reconciliations, Fixed Assets, General ledger and Subledgers posted by Accountant according to TR GAAP. Also, posting COGS, Payroll, Tax and Social Security entries, Accruals, Provisions;
• Manage all accounting recordings and journal entries by profit centers / cost centers in cooperation with Accountant;
• Coordinate the month-end closing process under the Group timing (D+4 and D+8);
• Accountable for calculating and declaring Corporate Income Tax, Provisional Tax, VAT, VAT-2, Withholding Tax, Stamp Tax, other taxes, E-Ledgers, Social Security Premiums, statistical reports and certifying the books;
• Manage the monthly exchange revaluations and fx invoices;
• Collaborate with HR and External Service Providers regarding Payroll;
• Manage the B/S and P&L accounting reporting for the Group in SAP-BFC in compliance with French GAAP;
• Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual closing statutory obligations, including producing of all annual closing documentations, including coordination with external service providers like Sworn-In CPA and Auditors;
• Contribute to the relations with tax authorities and all public institutions;
• Coordination with Group Treasury and managing the payment process;
• Manage the ERP / Accounting systems Oracle NetSuite deployment and contribute to optimize the financial data production architecture, towards more automated reporting;
• Coordinate with EMEA accounting team based in HQ France to secure the EMEA accounting core model implementation in Turkey, in terms of procedures, tools and via the deployment of Oracle Net Suite, and with Group Finance teams (consolidation, audit);
• Close control of Accountant and collaboration with Order Administrator and Controller, within the Finance team;
• Communicates with Regional Finance Director TR in decision making processes.

The Successful Applicant

• 5 to 7 years of total experience with above responsibilities, mainly in Accounting, Tax and Payroll;
• Experience in International groups or companies either publicly-traded or subject to mandatory independent audit;
• High proficiency in TR GAAP, Uniform Chart of Accounts, Tax and Social Security regulations is a must.
• Skilled in Accounting ERP systems, including Oracle, and data management on Excel;
• IFRS (TFRS/TMS), accrual and provision knowledge is a plus;
• We need a doer, autonomous in all accounting practices;
• Business-oriented with experiences in setting-up financial and business processes;
• Energetic and flexible to drive changes;
• Excellent time management skills, adaptable to a fast paced and quickly changing environment, able to take initiative and handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines;
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken;
• CPA license is a must.
