Qualifications

• Five+ years in security administration, risk management, criminology, public administration or industrial security.
• Three+ years planning and running security for major events with VIPs or international operations.
• Recognised risk management certification or relevant security qualification.
• Ability to collect, analyse and interpret security data from open sources and other reporting into briefings and risk assessments.
• Ability to coordinate with senior leadership, local law enforcement and partners.

Responsibilities

• Analyze travel database to identify high-risk destinations and critical staff locations.
• Collect and analyse security information from open sources, classified reporting and local advisories.
• Provide travellers with comprehensive security briefings on protocols, risks and mitigation.
• Develop security plans for high-risk events in line with policy.
• Run risk assessments and audits, lead site surveys to find vulnerabilities at venues.
• Review attendee lists for non-member participants and assess counter-intelligence risk.
• Prepare security briefs for senior approval and oversee at events for registration and check-in.
• Coordinate security for high-profile events with authorities and partner agencies.
• Write after-action reports and lessons learned from events.
