Job summary

CACTUS seeks an Editor to leverage subject‑matter expertise to evaluate and refine research manuscripts, ensuring accuracy and discipline‑specific clarity for prestigious journals. You will enhance language quality while preserving authors' intended meaning, supporting researchers worldwide.

Responsibilities include reviewing manuscripts for clarity, terminology accuracy, and publication readiness, and formatting per journal guidelines where required.

Qualifications

• A Phd degree in one or more specialized subject areas listed below (mandatory)
• Strong publication record, with 5–10 or more first‑author publications (mandatory)
• Ability to critically assess study design, methodology, statistics, and interpretation
• Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate scientific content and ensure discipline‑specific accuracy.
• Excellent written English and attention to detail.
• Prior experience in scientific editing or academic publishing is preferred.
