Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Voice Recording Specialists to help train AI speech systems. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract with a commitment of 10–40 hours per week. No voice acting experience or audio background is required—just a clear speaking voice, a quiet space, and a willingness to be recorded.

You will record clear voice samples, vary your delivery, and complete metadata forms. You’ll work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule, with opportunities for ongoing

Qualifications

Clear, natural speaking voice; no professional training required.
Access to a quiet recording environment with minimal background noise.
Access to a microphone or a smartphone with good audio quality.
Comfortable reading aloud and being recorded.
Reliable and self-motivated when working independently.
No prior voice acting, broadcasting, or AI experience required.

Responsibilities

Record clear, natural voice samples following provided scripts and prompts.
Vary tone, pacing, and delivery to capture a range of speech patterns.
Ensure recordings are clean and free of background noise.
Complete metadata forms describing context and characteristics of each recording.
Participate in scripted readings and open-ended conversational recordings.
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
