Job summary

CapsLock, a digital marketing partner, seeks a Social Media Video Editor & Designer to craft platform-first videos for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. You will edit short-form content with strong pacing, storytelling, and motion graphics, while producing supporting static assets as needed.

You will work closely with the social media team to align content with brand guidelines and marketing goals, staying current with trends and platform best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing for social media.
• Strong portfolio of short-form editing and motion graphics.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Graphic design skills with Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook with strong hooks and pacing.
• Turn raw footage into polished social content with cuts, captions, transitions, music, and effects.
• Adapt and optimize content for different platforms, formats, and technical requirements.
• Create motion graphics and supporting assets like overlays, thumbnails, and static posts.
• Collaborate with the social media team to review performance and iterate creatives.
