Job summary

JumpCloud is seeking a Software Engineer II on the Auth & Access team to help build and scale core authentication and identity services. You’ll work with Go, Python, and Node.js backends, implement secure auth protocols, and accelerate velocity using AI-assisted tools.

Qualifications

Strong SQL skills and experience with complex schemas; NoSQL databases like MongoDB/Cassandra.
Proficient in Java, Python, or Go.
Experience with logging tools such as Datadog or the ELK stack.
Knowledge of APIs and SDKs.
Comfort using AI-assisted tools in development and debugging.
Experience administering Mac, Linux, and Windows devices preferred.
Device management tools like Microsoft AD or Apple MDM preferred.
Knowledge of Radius and LDAP is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot issues impacting customers both internally and externally.
Develop internal SaaS apps for customer data accessibility to various teams.
Provide support for Product and Engineering teams.
Serve as Incident Manager to facilitate quick resolution of issues.
Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve support inquiries.
Monitor alerts and on-call channels; participate in on-call rotation after onboarding.
