Position Summary

The Country Commercial Leader is responsible for shaping and executing Beckman Coulter’s commercial strategy in alignment with the Diagnostics Platform’s global and regional objectives. This role is pivotal in driving sustainable growth, leading high‑performing teams, and ensuring the seamless integration of commercial excellence, customer engagement, and operational execution. You will lead Sales, Marketing, and Business Development functions, building strong partnerships with customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver on our mission — advancing healthcare for every patient, every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the country’s commercial strategy in alignment with Beckman Coulter’s and Danaher’s global business priorities, ensuring strong market growth and profitability.
  • Performance & Growth: Lead, inspire, and manage commercial teams to meet and exceed revenue, margin, and market share targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance excellence.
  • Customer & Partner Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with key accounts, healthcare institutions, and channel partners to deepen engagement and long‑term collaboration.
  • Market Intelligence & Agility: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to proactively adapt strategies and maintain leadership positioning in the diagnostics sector.
  • Marketing & Execution Excellence: Ensure the successful implementation of marketing initiatives, product launches, and go‑to‑market plans that resonate with local market needs.
  • DBS & Continuous Improvement: Champion the Danaher Business System (DBS) to drive daily management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across all commercial functions.
  • Resource & Budget Management: Oversee commercial budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources, ROI optimization, and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with regional leaders, functional teams, and Danaher platform peers to ensure one aligned, high‑performing Diagnostics organization.
  • Governance & Reporting: Provide regular business performance reports, insights, and strategic recommendations to regional and platform leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven success in a commercial leadership role within the Diagnostics, Medical Devices, or Healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of the local healthcare market, including customer dynamics, distribution channels, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English (additional regional language a plus).
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales management tools.
  • Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., DBS, Lean, Six Sigma) to drive operational and commercial excellence.
