Position Summary

The Quality Control & Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring the continuity of quality standards across production processes, promoting a strong food safety culture, and securing full compliance with regulatory requirements. This role works closely with the Production and R&D teams to maintain sustainable quality systems and manage all internal and external audit processes.

Location: BURDUR
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, audit, and continuously improve Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC, etc.) across the facility.
  • Plan and evaluate raw material, process, packaging, and finished product controls.
  • Oversee laboratory operations, including sampling plans and accuracy of analytical results.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene standards on the production floor.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits (customer, governmental, and certification bodies).
  • Monitor quality indicators, prepare regular management reports, and lead improvement actions.
  • Support new product development by ensuring regulatory and quality compliance during formulation and scale-up stages.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the quality team to foster continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline,
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the food or beverage industry, preferably in a managerial role,
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, GHP,
  • Experience in laboratory management and analytical data interpretation,
  • Proactive approach to quality culture, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills,
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination abilities,
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven,
  • Proficient in MS Office applications,
  • Willing to take an active role in production areas when needed.
