Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Gebze for an Purchasing Executive at Marmara Metal Mamulleri Tic. A.Ş. The Purchasing Executive will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to procurement, market research, operations management, and project management within the company.

Qualifications

Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers while maintaining a competitive and compliant supplier base.

Request, compare, and analyze quotations (RFQ/RFP) to secure best commercial options.

Lead strong purchasing negotiations, actively demanding procurement discounts, and improved commercial terms.

Issue accurate Purchase Orders and manage end-to-end procurement cycles, including delivery follow-up and coordination with logistics/operations.

Conduct cost analysis, price benchmarking, and market research to support strategic cost‑saving initiatives.

Resolve supplier issues related to delays, quality, documentation, or contractual terms while maintaining professional relationships.

Maintain procurement records, ensure compliance with company policies, and prepare periodic reports on savings, supplier performance, and KPIs.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Professional proficiency in English is a must.

Experience in procurement minimum 3+ years is plus within metals industry or any related field.
