Job summary

Fimple is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our PMO team and deliver international banking and financial technology projects. You will partner with banking customers, internal teams and vendors to drive initiatives from initiation through go‑live, coordinating scope, timelines and budgets in a fast-paced global environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management, a strong banking background, excellent English, and a track record of delivering complex technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in project management, delivering technology/software/implementation projects.
• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech or banking tech.
• Solid understanding of banking products, processes and financial services.
• Experience managing software implementation or technology projects end-to-end.
• Good understanding of SDLC, testing and release processes.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management with diverse teams.
• Excellent English communication, able to lead meetings with international stakeholders.
• Experience with geographically distributed teams across countries/time zones.
• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, PSM or equivalent is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end international projects from initiation through implementation and go-live.
• Define and maintain project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, resources and delivery plans.
• Develop detailed project plans and ensure activities meet scope, timeline, budget and quality expectations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Business, Product, Development, QA, Infrastructure and other tech teams.
• Act as a key contact between Fimple, customers, vendors and external stakeholders.
• Work with banking customers to understand business needs, priorities and processes.
• Coordinate requirements, deliverables, dependencies and priorities across teams.
• Manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies; drive mitigation actions.
• Establish governance including RAID logs, actions, plans and status reporting.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, implementation, deployment and go-live activities.
• Track progress and deviations from baseline; manage scope changes and change requests.
• Facilitate regular meetings and governance forums with stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly status reports and executive updates highlighting risks/actions.
• Ensure clear communication across teams in high-pressure situations.
• Work with vendors to align on deliverables and timelines.
• Support customer communication and stakeholder relationships throughout lifecycle.
• Ensure documentation and lessons learned are maintained.
• Contribute to PMO process improvements and best practices.
• Participate in international customer meetings and travel when required.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering international projects. We are looking for a candidate who has excellent English language skills, a strong background in project management, and knowledge of the banking industry. The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing complex projects and capable of working in an international environment.

The Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our PMO team and take responsibility for the successful delivery of international banking and financial technology projects.

The ideal candidate combines hands‑on project management experience with solid knowledge of banking products and processes and is comfortable working at the intersection of business, technology, product and delivery teams.

You will work closely with international banking customers, internal teams, technology partners and third‑party vendors to drive projects from initiation through implementation and go‑live.

This is a client‑facing role requiring strong communication skills, excellent English, structured project management capabilities and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced international environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

• 5+ years of professional experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering technology, software or implementation projects.

• Experience working in banking, financial services, fintech or banking technology.

• Solid understanding of banking products, business processes and financial services.

• Experience managing software implementation or technology projects end-to-end.

• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing and release processes.

• Practical knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid project management methodologies.

• Strong experience in stakeholder management, including business teams, technology teams, customers and external vendors.

• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks and issues.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead meetings and communicate effectively with international stakeholders.

• Experience working with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders across different countries and time zones.

• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, PSM or equivalent project management certification is a strong plus.

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally based on project and customer requirements.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Establish and maintain appropriate project governance, including RAID logs, action tracking, project plans and status reporting.

• Coordinate SIT, UAT, implementation, deployment and go-live activities where applicable.

• Track project progress and proactively identify deviations from the approved baseline.

• Manage scope changes and ensure that change requests, impacts and decisions are properly assessed and documented.

• Facilitate regular project meetings, working sessions and governance forums with internal and external stakeholders.

• Prepare and present weekly project status reports and executive-level project updates, highlighting progress, key risks, issues, dependencies and required actions.

• Ensure clear and timely communication across teams, particularly in complex or high-pressure project situations.

• Work with vendors and third parties to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines, dependencies and responsibilities.

• Support effective customer communication and maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure project documentation, decisions, actions and lessons learned are properly maintained.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, project governance, methodologies, templates and best practices.

• Participate in international customer meetings and travel to customer locations when required.
