Production Planning Engineer

We are looking for a Production Planning Engineer with strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and creative ideas that make a difference to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze sales data and customer orders to create demand forecasts,
  • Plan materials, workforce, and machine capacity in line with demand forecasts,
  • Identifying potential capacity constraints in advance through capacity planning activities and taking preventive actions,
  • Ensure efficient operation of production lines through workforce and shift planning,
  • Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans via ERP/MRP systems,
  • Continuously track and update demand–inventory–production balance,
  • Prepare and update assembly line production schedules on a shift basis and publish them daily,
  • Compare actual production with planned production, preparing performance and deviation reports,
  • Plan and monitor alternative bill of materials (BOM) and material usage scenarios,
  • Participate in improvement and optimization projects to increase process efficiency,
  • Work in coordination with material planning, procurement, logistics, quality, and production departments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering),
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production/material planning and inventory control within manufacturing companies,
  • Proficient in SAP MM and PP modules, advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel,
  • Good command of English,
  • Strong analytical thinking, planning, and organizational skills,
  • Result-oriented, quick problem-solving ability,
  • Team player with strong communication skills,
  • Residing or able to reside in Istanbul Asian Side, Gebze, or surrounding areas.
