Qualifications

Rollic has over 3.5 billion downloads across its diverse portfolio of games and, thanks to an intensive development process utilizing a massive test pipeline, has a steady cadence of globally hit titles such as Color Block Jam, Timeline Up, Crowd Express: Boarding Puzzle, Hole People, Knit Out, Gecko Out, Drop Away all of which have gained millions of downloads worldwide within a few months after their release.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and implement features and improvements to enhance player experience in live games
• Analyze player behavior, game metrics, and feedback to generate actionable insights
• Develop and iterate on core gameplay mechanics to strengthen the core loop
• Create, test, and balance levels to support player progression and engagement
• Collaborate closely with engineers and artists to bring features and content to life
• Design, execute, and monitor A/B tests to validate hypotheses and optimize outcomes
• Optimize difficulty curves to improve retention and overall player satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date with the hybrid-casual and puzzle market, including competitor analysis and trends
• Regularly test and playtest features and levels to ensure quality and fun
• Contribute to the product roadmap and help shape the strategic direction of live games
• Rapidly prototype ideas and iterate based on data and team feedback

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in game design, product specialist, or a similar role in the mobile gaming industry
• Strong passion for puzzle and hybrid-casual games, with a solid understanding of their success drivers
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Good understanding of player psychology, engagement, and retention mechanics
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
