Job description

Aresforti Elevators is a young and innovative elevator manufacturer in Turkey. We boast over 10 years of experience in the elevator industry and are constantly reimagining the possibilities of vertical transportation. We work with a relentless commitment to innovation, combining advanced technology, safety, and design to develop elevators that redefine the landscape of the industry. For our production team, we are looking for a Procurement Officer to join our factory in Akşehir – Turkey.

Your role:

  1. Purchase stock supplies and materials and distribute to the department areas as required.
  2. Liaise with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  3. Check goods received against purchase orders and invoices.
  4. Follow up on order discrepancies.
  5. Organise transport and freight for deliveries.
  6. Expedite urgent purchasing requirements as directed.
  7. Investigate and develop supply chain options for core materials.
  8. Develop subcontractor relationships and negotiate to improve commercial terms.
  9. Integrate established guidelines, instructions, policies, and procedures to improve purchasing efficiency.
  10. Other general office duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 3 years relevant work experience in elevator manufacturing or similar.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Turkish & English.
  3. Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines and deal with conflicting priorities.
  4. Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Strong attention to detail.
  6. You are legitimised to work in Turkey. Our factory is located in Akşehir – Turkey.
