About the Role

Our partner is looking for a Procurement Director to lead the company’s purchasing, logistics, and planning functions with a service-oriented mindset that prioritizes efficiency, sustainability, and strategic alignment. This role will oversee the entire corporate supply chain and implement cost-saving and improvement-driven initiatives tailored to evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve all supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, and logistics.
• Collaborate with the Deputy General Manager to execute operational plans aligned with company goals.
• Monitor warehouse and inventory reports, and coordinate the resolution of accounting discrepancies.
• Ensure that all procurement and supply chain operations comply with national and international regulations.
• Develop and implement sustainability-focused projects aligned with corporate ESG targets.
• Supervise and support the performance and development of staff within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental, and quality standards; manage risks and opportunities effectively.
• Operate in accordance with data protection laws and information security management systems.
• Ensure implementation of board decisions and compliance with the company’s legal obligations.
• Foster strong collaboration and communication with other departments and managers.
• Propose and implement initiatives focused on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in managerial roles, preferably with sector-specific experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (especially SAP).
• Experience in warehousing and textile industries is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Residing in Istanbul (or Ankara) and open to travel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Advanced negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Proficiency in English.
