Job summary

Victrix Legion in Turkey seeks an experienced IT infrastructure specialist with active NATO SECRET clearance to manage server virtualization and core on-prem services. You will drive capacity planning, security hardening, and backups in a demanding environment.

The role requires deep knowledge of Hypervisors, Windows/Linux admin, PowerShell, and ITIL processes, plus strong communication and hands-on problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET clearance is required for this role.
• Higher vocational IT training with 3+ years post-qualification experience, or 5 years with secondary qualification.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management and capacity planning.
• Deep experience with server virtualization, hypervisors and related tech.
• Extensive Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and GPO experience.
• Experience in Linux (Oracle, Red Hat) OS and SSO administration.
• SQL Server and Oracle DB management experience.
• Server clustering, storage and backup systems expertise.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices and incident management.

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience,
• Current in-depth knowledge and practical work experience in IT infrastructure management and capacity management,
• Current in-depth knowledge and recent practical experience of mainstream hypervisors, Virtual Infrastructure, deploying and managing server virtualization technologies.
• Current in-depth knowledge and practical work experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, Domain Naming, Group Policies and Desktop deployment.,
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience on administration of Windows and/or LINUX (Oracle, RedHat) Operating Systems and Single Sign-On,
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database Management Software,
• Experience in server clustering technology, storage systems and backup systems,
• Experience in the operational business processes of Application Services,
• Server-side scripting (Microsoft PowerShell),
• Experience in in Web platforms and services,
• Demonstrable, excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Working knowledge ITIL best practices.
