Job summary

PepsiCo in Bornova, Turkey, seeks a Maintenance Manager to ensure effective and efficient plant operations by planning and executing the maintenance and repair agenda. You will research new technologies, manage budgets, and coordinate with departments to sustain production continuity.

You will lead the maintenance team, oversee energy performance and safety compliance, and drive Lean and productivity initiatives while coordinating with external contractors and government bodies as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background required.
• Experience in industrial maintenance and capital projects.
• Good command of English; MS-Office and AI tools are a plus.
• Ability to lead teams and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Technical System Functions in plant.
• Planning the optimum maintenance, repair and investment needs of the plant with the relevant departments.
• Manage the maintenance budget of the plant and ensure resources align with the plan.
• Coordinate the Plant Recon System and ensure its continuous development.
• Prepare energy consumption reports and maintenance budgets for the plant.
• Approve service, spare part requests with codes and verify entries.
• Ensure spare parts warehouse operations, stock optimization and cost reduction per PepsiCo rules.
• Prepare spare parts warehouse AOP and manage utilities operation and repairs.
• Report on energy, budget, inventory, and contractor costs to relevant units.
• Follow plant safety standards; liaise with government agencies; oversee contractor teams.
• Lead Lean, Standard Work, and Productivity initiatives in the Plant.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and other internal evaluations.
• Provide training to contractor employees on safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain asset inventories and oversee fixed asset write-offs.
