People Operations Specialist
Role Summary
People Operations Specialist supports day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle. The role focuses on execution, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of People Operations processes, working closely with hiring managers, finance, and external partners to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth HR operations.
Core Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding Support
- Supports end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, CV screening, interview scheduling, and coordinating internal interview participants
- Coordinates with hiring managers to collect role requirements and interview feedback, writes interview notes after interviews and prints related interview documents before interviews
- Prepares offer documentation and supports onboarding logistics
- Tracks recruitment metrics and prepares regular hiring status reports
Performance & Employee Process Tracking
- Supports performance review cycles by coordinating timelines, documentation, and data collection and documentation
- Tracks KPIs, feedback inputs, and evaluation results for reporting purposes
- Maintains up-to-date employee records, performance documents, and development notes
- Supports managers with follow-ups related to goal tracking and review documentation
Training & Development Coordination
- Collects training needs from teams and supports training scheduling
- Tracks training participation, attendance, and certification records
- Maintains training databases and prepares summary reports
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintains personnel files, contracts, leave records, and HR documentation
- Tracks annual leave, sick leave, and other absences through internal HR system
- Coordinates payroll inputs with finance, including leave data and employee changes
- Supports payroll, SGK, and compliance documentation processes
- Acts as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR procedures
Compensation & Benefits Support
- Supports salary benchmarking data collection and comparisons
- Coordinates benefits enrollment, health insurance processes, and BES documentation
- Tracks headcount data and supports workforce-related reporting to EGM and EGESBM
- Prepares HR data summaries for management review
Employee Engagement & Internal Communication
- Supports employee surveys and engagement data collection
- Assists in organizing internal events and HR communications
- Tracks feedback and follow-up action items
Compliance & Coordination
- Supports compliance with Turkish labor law through accurate documentation and follow-ups
- Coordinates with external vendors such as payroll, insurance, and HR consultants
- Escalates risks or inconsistencies to senior HR or management when required
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in HR or People Operations in a fast-paced environment
- Operational knowledge of Turkish labor law, payroll, and HR compliance
- Experience with HR reporting, tracking, and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Professional working proficiency in English
