Job Description

As a Payments Corporate Sales Associate within the Turkiye & CEE Payments Corporate Sales team, you will have the exciting opportunity to support the Turkey & CEE region Sales Managers managing client relationships, driving revenue growth and promoting sales through end-to-end sales cycle. You will be working closely with the local and regional Payments and Corporate Banking teams, as well as with clients and internal partners, assisting them with maintaining, developing, execution and service of client relationships.

You will be involved in client engagement, preparing client presentations, industry analysis, and project assignments, as well as reviewing and analyzing transactional data. This role provides a unique opportunity to understand the client's account structure, cash flow, product usage, and regional/global setup. You will also contribute as the voice of the client in cross-functional partner engagement to ensure alignment with broader firm-wide interests and the clients' objectives. This role is based in Istanbul and requires fluency in English and Turkish.

This role requires a good understanding of corporate cash management, payment systems, a keen ability to build and maintain client relationships, and a proactive approach to solution selling.

Job responsibilities

  • Support Payments Sales Managers to manage the end-to-end sales cycle as well as client relationship.
  • Understand the client's account structure, cash flow, product usage, payments processes, regional/global setup and propose tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, operations, compliance) to ensure seamless service delivery and implementation.
  • Assist Payments Sales Managers to ensure that clients are receiving agreed services.
  • Review and analyse transactional data to identify key trends, risks, pricing/billing inefficiencies.
  • Prepare client account plans, briefing memos and portfolio management reporting.
  • Contribute as the voice of the client in cross‑functional partner engagement to ensure alignment with broader firm wide interests and the clients objectives.
  • Support Sales managers with preparation of proposals and material for internal approvals as well as sales pitch.
  • Conduct research on existing client portfolios and prospective clients. Provide fundamental research on current and target market sizing by region.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Min. 3 years of relevant experience in corporate cash management, financial services, or a similar sales‑driven role preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Ability to understand complex payment systems and articulate the value proposition of financial solutions.
  • Self‑motivated with a strong drive for success and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions.
  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Aspire to develop the necessary sales and technical skills to ultimately assume a Sales Manager role.
  • Results oriented. Able to work under pressure within tight timeframes.
  • Flexible for travel within the coverage region.
  • Fluent in Turkish and English.
