Job summary

SPIE is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Method Engineer to lead SAP data management and populate the CMIMS database for a comprehensive maintenance strategy. You will implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based plans for high-speed rotating equipment within a petrochemical context.

You will collaborate with global teams, craft maintenance matrices, and ensure quality and compliance across the program while driving data-driven decisions with RCA, FMEA and RCM methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Turkish nationality or Turkish-speaking is a strong plus.
• 3–7 years in maintenance services, with refining, petrochemicals, or PDH-PP experience.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP/CMMS for asset management and data processing.
• Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems in a petrochemical environment.
• Strong statistical data preparation and technical reporting skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and under pressure.
• Effective communication with team members and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Collect and validate mechanical asset registers and data templates for SAP implementation.
• Populate the CMIMS database with high-fidelity mechanical data and integrate maintenance plans into SAP.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
• Conduct RCA and FMEA studies, Risk-based Maintenance, and Reliability-centered Maintenance.
• Prepare Maintenance Matrix Plan and Maintenance Work Instructions as part of the Global Maintenance Plan.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operation, HSE and other engineering teams to enhance productivity.
