Job summary

Republic Services is seeking MBA interns for a 10-week, paid program designed to give first-year MBA students hands-on experience in field operations and strategic projects. Interns rotate across Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Sales and Administration with guidance from a dedicated manager and mentor.

The program provides exposure to executive leadership and opportunities to contribute to high-impact initiatives that drive performance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the first year of an accredited MBA program.
• Strong analytical and communication skills and demonstrated interest in operations and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotations across functional areas such as Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Sales, and Administration.
• Execute project deliverables identified by functional leaders and present findings to key stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement and growth.
• Develop professional documents and communications related to project outcomes.
• Engage with employees and leadership teams to understand business drivers and operational challenges.
• Learn how to influence financial outcomes and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Adhere to the formal training curriculum and complete all assigned tasks within the internship timeframe.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.
