About The Role
  • Create and/or edit communication material in English and Turkish.
  • Assist in developing Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul’s website content.
  • Plan and produce content for social media posts.
  • Assist in maintaining comprehensive master slide library for all advertising, collateral, and public relations activities.
  • Assist and coordinate marketing and communication activities, press activities, hotel sponsored events and community related activities.
  • Gather information / advertising clippings of competitor hotels.
  • Keep DOC and Marketing staff informed on Communications activities of main competitors.
  • Support Communications and related duties and functions as deemed necessary.
  • Perform administrative duties as required.
  • Support the liaison between the Marketing and Communications Department and creative agency on the international and local campaigns’ creative and media plans.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of all printed materials, following the specification as it stipulated in the corporate ID manual.
  • Assist in maintaining excellent relationship with local and international online / offline media to promote good publicity and counteract bad exposure.
  • Assist in establishing special events or promotion sending to trade or consumer publications on a regular basis.
  • Assist with seeking high‑end sponsorship to enhance the hotel’s packages and promotions.
  • Provide information to DOMC on activities within and outside the hotel, which may be useful in dealing with guests.
  • Manage external vendors / agencies / production houses on various initiatives to ensure execution and deliverables as expected.
