Job summary

A global engineering firm in Turkey is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to manage production processes and optimize operations. Job description

We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer for our global business partner operating in the steel, foundry, and glass industries, which provides engineering solutions for high-temperature processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage daily production process operations and ensure process optimization,
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve failures,
  • Provide training for new hires and existing employees,
  • Apply continuous improvement methods such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S,
  • Analyze and improve quality issues related to product, material, or process,
  • Research, design, and integrate new manufacturing methods and processes,
  • Evaluate manufactured products to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards,
  • Estimate production costs, lead times, and manpower requirements,
  • Monitor calibration and maintenance of equipment,
  • Actively participate in health safety and quality audit processes,
  • Oversee purchase, installation, and commissioning of machinery and equipment,
  • Ensure accuracy of BOM and maintain process documentation,
  • Support plant ergonomics programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related fields,
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Production/Process Engineering,
  • Fluent in English,
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, Kaizen is an asset,
  • Familiar with quality management systems, root cause analysis (RCA), and 8D methodology,
  • Strong communication skills, able to work effectively in a team environment and motivate others.
