Job summary

OnTarget Communications is seeking an Avionics B2 Engineer for a fully onsite role in Switzerland. You will certify maintenance activities and oversee scheduled and unscheduled tasks to ensure airworthiness. The ideal candidate holds an EASA Part-66 Cat.

B2 license, has 5+ years in base maintenance on fixed‑wing aircraft, and fluent English; 2+ years as certifying staff is advantageous. You will coordinate with repair, engineering, and airworthiness teams and assist during AOG events while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of base maintenance on fixed-wing aircraft.
• Holder of EASA Part-66 Cat. B2 license.
• Fluent in English; 2+ years as Certifying Staff on type aircraft is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as certifying staff for maintenance activities within the client’s organization
• Oversee the completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including the review and execution of related operational work orders
• Provide technical guidance, diagnose faults, and carry out corrective actions to resolve aircraft issues
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and ensure full compliance with applicable regulations and technical documentation
• Coordinate with internal component repair, engineering, and airworthiness departments to ensure timely resolution of maintenance matters
• Support aircraft recovery operations and assist customers during AOG events when required

Responsibilities:

Requirements

• 5+ years of practical experience in base maintenance on fixed-wing aircraft


• Holder of EASA Part‑66 Cat. B2

• 2+ years experience as Certifying Staff on type aircraft - Advantage


• Working knowledge of 145 MRO. and PO part 21 - Advantage
