IBSS is a Business Analytics Consultancy firm established in 2006 and offering consulting, training and support services with an experienced team.

In IBSS, we have so far realized more than 100 wide-scope and successful analytics projects both in Turkey and abroad.

We are a multidisciplinary team who are able to work on a wide-range of analytics needs from different sectors and business lines.

We are looking for a “Legal Counsel” to be assigned to our ''Legal'' department located in İstanbul HQ and provide legal support across our operations.

General Qualifications
  • Graduated from a Law School in Turkey and registered in the Bar Association of Turkey.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a Legal Counsel in the ICT and Digital sectors.
  • Proven expertise in especially litigation, contract law, and corporate governance.
  • Strong understanding of the ICT industry and digital business operations.
  • Excellent prioritization, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
  • Experienced in corporate governance processes.
  • High proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially minded and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Self‑motivated team player with persuasiveness and resilience.
  • Flexibility.
Main Responsibilities
  • Advise on commercial contracts, including internal and external client contracts, NDA’s, supplier contracts, general terms & conditions, and other commercial agreements for the relevant area of business. This will include reviewing, revising, drafting and negotiating all contracts and supporting to sales staff as required.
  • You will also manage legal issues in accordance with applicable local laws and company policies, as well as manage processes and reply to requests from legal authorities or customers in Turkey.
  • Handle corporate legal for the relevant area of business, including corporate housekeeping of the relevant area legal entities and (in cooperation with the HR partners) giving support for labour law matters in the given jurisdictions.
  • Provide advice on general legal and compliance risks and proposals for mitigating risks in connection with business activities, products and services, and customer disputes.
  • Providing legal consultancy to company departments and group companies.
  • Provide support to the Group Privacy Officer and DPO for privacy matters and cooperate to ensure privacy compliance for the relevant area legal entities.
  • Developing practical and creative legal solutions for business needs.
  • Stay up to date with legislative changes and developments in relevant areas of law, contributing to the continuous improvement of the company’s legal knowledge base.
  • Preparing responses to official correspondences.
