A leading banking institution is seeking a Legal Affairs Project Finance Senior Attorney in Turkey to evaluate and provide legal opinions on Project Finance transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Law, a Master's is preferable, and must have at least 5 years of experience in Private Law, especially in Project Finance, Energy Law, and M&A. Qualifications

• Excellent command of English is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in Private Law.
• Experience in Project Finance (including Ship Financing), Energy Law and Merger and Acquisition is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide legal opinions on Project Finance and Syndicated Loan transactions.
• Negotiate all documents related to Project Finance and Syndicated Loans.
• Conduct internal approval processes for Project Finance and Syndicated Loans.
• Inform relevant units about applicable legislation.
• Provide internal training on Project Finance and Syndicated Loans from a legal perspective.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating the questions and subjects received by the business lines and branches about Project Finance and Syndicated Loan transactions from a legal perspective and expressing a legal opinion on these
• Preparing, examining, expressing an opinion on, revising and negotiating all documents (including term sheets, mandate letters, loan agreement, security agreements, release documents) related to Project Finance (especially Ship Financing) and Syndicated Loans (in Turkish and English if necessary)
• Following up and conducting the internal approval processes of the Project Finance and Syndicated Loans
• Following up the relevant legislation that may apply to the Project Finance and Syndicated Loans and informing the relevant units
• Providing internal training and information for legal perspective on the Project Finance and Syndicated Loans

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law
• Preferably having Master’s Degree in Private Law
• Having law license and at least 5 years of experience in the Private Law (preferably having work experience in Project Finance (including Ship Financing), Energy Law and Merger and Acquisition)
• Excellent command of English
