GE Vernova is seeking a Lead VAT Analyst to join the Finance Hub in Türkiye, with the role based in Gebze. You will support indirect tax compliance across multiple affiliates, focusing on VAT and related taxes, while coordinating with regional teams in the Middle East and Turkey.

The position requires a finance/accounting background, 3 years in indirect taxes, and fluency in English and Turkish, with the ability to work on-site in Gebze and reside in Istanbul or Kocaeli.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance/accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in indirect taxes, preferably in multinational environment.
• Strong verbal and written skills in English and Turkish.
• Ability to live in Istanbul & Kocaeli.
• Willing to work at Gebze plant.

Responsabilités

• Ensure that indirect taxes (VAT1, VAT2, WHT and Special Consumption Tax) and associated returns are correct by reviewing them prepare complex indirect tax returns.
• Identify potential errors and work on corrective actions
• Liaise with external advisor and business indirect tax managers to ensure compliance with local regulations& business policies
• Prepare necessary data for the VAT refund
• Provide training if it necessary and courses for indirect taxes return preparer and other accounting functions to improve the indirect taxes compliance
• Coordinate & work on Turkish and Middle East projects focusing on indirect taxes process & system improvements like standardization and simplifications
• Support the indirect taxes recoated internal and external audits
• Work on the Account Reconciliation scope

Job Description Summary As a Lead VAT Analyst, you'll play an integral part within GE Vernova Finance Hub in Egypt, but this position physically will be in Türkiye. Supporting GE's affiliates across numerous countries. This role provides legal, regulatory and tax compliance for multiple GE entities and focuses particularly on indirect taxes, analyses, preparation and review.

Job Description Key Responsibilities
