Overview

Lead Engineer-R&D (Vibration & Acoustics) – Beko Corporate

What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a Lead Engineer-R&D (Vibration & Acoustics) who will join our team at the R&D Directorate.

• Understanding of noise generation in mechanical, aeroacoustical and electro-mechanical systems, including quantification and modification of the sound of motors, pumps, fans, etc.
• Performing root cause analysis of noise sources
• Performing acoustic testing, sound quality evaluation and sound design studies
• Creating detailed test plans and specifications
• Establishing experimental setup, executing experiments and data analysis
• Clearly communicating complex data to technical and non-technical team members
• Working with cross-functional teams on creative solutions to noise problems
• Leading and participating in R&D projects for improving and developing new products

Location: Çayırova, İstanbul.

How we describe the perfect fit

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably Master’s / Doctorate degree in fields associated with Mechanical Vibration and Acoustics
• Having experience in household or similar electrical appliances
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related area
• Experience in product component/sub-system/system dynamic simulations using modelling and simulation strategies of varying complexities
• Experience in modal analysis (numerical and experimental)
• Experience in NX, Matlab and B&K Pulse
• Knowledge of system design, vibration and acoustic simulation and testing
• Strong knowledge of Simcenter
• Experience in anechoic / semi-anechoic acoustic chambers and the use of precision-grade instrumentation (e.g. acoustic camera)
• Excellent verbal and written English (German is a plus)
• Following and adopting market trends and new technologies
