Job summary

Randstad Türkiye is seeking a software engineer to develop PC-based human-machine interfaces (upper computer) with LabVIEW, focusing on UI/UX and PC-to-device communications. You will lead requirement analysis, system design, and test planning for non-standard aging and test platforms.

You will own development tasks, perform coding and debugging, and maintain upper computer software within the stack. Strong LabVIEW, CAN/Modbus/SCPI, and C#/MySQL knowledge are expected.

Qualifications

• More than 1 year of relevant industry experience in industrial control upper computer software.
• Proficient in LabVIEW programming with multi-threading capabilities.
• Understanding of CAN, Modbus and SCPI protocols; skilled in Socket network programming.
• Proficient in C# and MySQL; knowledgeable in database management and transactions.
• Experience with automotive electronics MCU aging/burn-in software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop PC-based HMI software (upper computer) using LabVIEW, including UI/UX and PC-to-device communication.
• Lead requirement analysis, system solution design, software outline/detailed design, test plans, and documentation.
• Take ownership of development tasks, complete objectives on schedule, and debug software modules.
• Maintain upper computer software systems within the relevant technology stack.

Job description

• Responsible for the development of PC-based human-machine interaction software (upper computer/host computer) applications using LabVIEW, including UI/UX interface design and communication control software development between PC and other devices.
• Lead requirement analysis, system solution design, software outline design/detailed design, test plan development, and creation of user manuals and other related documentation for non-standard test & aging systems and automated test platforms.
• Take ownership of development tasks according to project requirements, complete assigned objectives on schedule, and independently handle coding and debugging of the corresponding software modules.
• Responsible for the development, debugging, and ongoing maintenance of upper computer software systems within the relevant technology stack.

Job Requirements

• More than 1 years of relevant industry experience, familiar with the development process of industrial control upper computer software, with good programming practices and solid software engineering capabilities.
• Proficient in LabVIEW programming, familiar with multi-threading design, and capable of independently designing test equipment software solutions.
• Understanding of common industrial communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, SCPI, etc., and proficient in Socket network programming.
• Proficient in C# programming, familiar with MySQL database, and knowledgeable in database management, triggers, transactions, locking mechanisms, etc.
• Familiar with the application of conventional IO cards, analog acquisition cards, motion control cards, and various instruments & meters; understanding of CAN open, UDS on CAN, ISO 15765, SAE J1939 protocols.
• Candidates with experience in automotive electronics MCU aging/burn-in software development and testing will be given priority.
