Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a software engineer to work across the full development life cycle, designing, coding, debugging and validating applications. The role involves analyzing existing systems, writing moderate-to-complex code, and ensuring compliance with PCI security standards.

You will collaborate with business and technology teams, participate in client meetings and contribute to documentation, testing and deployment plans to support internal and external client software solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a BS in Computer Science, IT, or MIS or related field.
• Typically a minimum of 4 years of professional coding, design, development and data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops code across front and back end languages for multiple platforms.
• Applies and enforces application standards and security controls (PCI).
• Participates in client meetings and collaborative discussions to determine approaches.
• Produces documentation, plans and billable hour estimates for initiatives and projects.
